BSKC
Max's team at the Hurst Community College made the UK National Finals of the BSKC Championships 2012 held at Daytona Milton Keynes fpr the third year running coming in the top 20 in the UK!
Why Maxi Karting ? Because karting is a way of life for this young man, Max Walton loves his karting and since the age of 5 or 6 he has been a keen karter. It all started on family holidays in lanzarote where he learnt the art of controlling a Kart at speed on the Islands hillside track with his brother Sam.
In 2007 he decided to join the Castle Coombe kart club and spent many a sunday afternoon practicing the skills he need in all weathers including driving rain and driving on ice using slick tyres.
After passing his MSA ARKS exam he is ready to go!
It's all up to Max now to do his best and get the times down, in practice on the 20th March he was only 5 tenths off the fastest time of the day and this is only after two days in the kart.....Looking forward to his first race of the season in April.
