BSKC 2011

The bskc (British Schools Karting Championship) is a great way to get kids envolved in karting, we entered last year and scaped through to the final.
This year and 500 or so teams and well over 1000 people entered the competition.
We entered again this year and were aiming to finish higher than last years result, this ment getting to the national finals.
There are three stages of the competition semi finals, regional finals and the national final.

So we went to the semi final which was held at woodley karting center. We dominatied the day alongside another team and finished joint first!!

We got through to the regional finals which were held at truxton kart center, we came second and were looking good all day. very good result and met tiff nedal!

Then the National finals, this time last year we came 30th so this year we were hoping to come higher. After a few heats we had already done better than last year, and it only got better as one of our drivers came 2nd in one of the heats!!!!! We finished 13th!!
As The Hurst (our team) we would like to thank all our mums and dads for getting there also our headteacher for his support throughout the competition!
